Kherson is located on the banks of the greatest Ukrainian river Dnieper. There are several river beaches in Kherson and every summer townspeople and guests of the city spend their time at the Kherson beaches enjoy cool water of the river and different entertainments of the beaches.
One of municipal Kherson beaches is “Gidropark”, it is located on the Karantinnyi island and it is possible to reach this beach by public conveyance of the city. The Karantinnyi island is an artificial island that has been made in Kherson. Kherson Zoo is located at the Gidropark beach as well.
Rest complex Lileya is located on the Dnieper banks in Kherson. Wonderful beaches of the complex are good for those who are looking for rest in summer. As to the rest complex it works all the year round.
Night Club Calypso in Kherson is close to the banks of the river and it proposes to its visitors a lot of different entertainments such as VIP-beach, pool, catamarans, scooters, canoes, massage and many others.
Molodezhnyi beach is rather far from the city centre, but it is one of the most popular. The entertainment complex “Pan'ski Rozvagy” is located close to the beach Molodezhnyi. It is possible to attend a sauna or to order a massage or a picnic.
