On the territory of this land powerful Dnieper River
flows into the Black Sea. It is nice to observe tawrian
meadows and melon plantation, Dnieper picturesque sights,
and velvet Black Sea beaches of Skadowsk, Kinburn and
Tendry.
This land contains the biggest number of preserves
in the state. The Black sea biosphere preserve of the
world importance is the place where rare floated birds
nest. It is the biggest preserve on the territory of
Ukraine which represents various landscapes of the southern
seashore lands of Ukraine. The most notable part of
this preserve is Tendrivska spit which stretch for 80
km. The preserve is a real bid's kingdom. It contains
305 species of birds of which 110 nest on the territory
of preserve and others can be met during wintering and
migrations. National preserve "Ascania Nova" was founded
in1874 by Fredrick Falts-Feyn. It's a unique memorial
of savage steppe which stores priceless treasures of
the nature.
The land is also famous for its sea resorts such as Zalizniy
Port, Genichesk, Lazurne, Arbatska Strilka - great places
to rest with clean beaches, therapeutic muds and sea which
offers an astonishing variety of activities: yachting,
scuba diving, and surfing. Dnieper River teems with fish,
which attract fishers. In autumn this region turns into
the kingdom of water-melons, peaches, melons and grapes
- the source for sunny tawrian wine. |
