National Reserve Askania Nova |

Faltz Fane State National Park "Askania-Nova"
was founded in 1874 and considered to be the oldest
resource on the territory of former Soviet Union.
It is a great place for development of green
tourism. There are more then 1000 animals
of different species and hybrid forms in Askania
virgin steppe. The distinguishing feature of the
Zoo is lack of cages. There are ancient barrows,
Scythian stone images crated in the times of Kiev
Rus. A dendrology garden was founded in the steppe.
More then 200 species of plants were brought from
different parts of the world and planted there.
